Play or Get Played.
A social deduction game of secret roles, unexpected twists, drama and deception where reading the room is your greatest weapon.
Every player gets a secret character with a unique behaviour style and three compulsory words they must cleverly work into the game without being caught. Each round, players face an Action Card and must answer while staying completely in character. Listen carefully, watch closely and look for the little things that give someone away.
But there’s more. Every few rounds, a Shift Card changes the game, while the bell gives players a chance to challenge suspicious behaviour. At the end of each round, players can put their reputation chips on the line and vote on whose role they think they’ve figured out.
Think you know who’s who?
Make your accusation.
Get it right: gain reputation and expose their role.
Get it wrong: lose reputation and leave their role hidden.
And remember, you can’t accuse forever. Once your reputation chips run out, you can still play, answer and defend yourself… but you’ll have to rely on everyone else making the wrong move.
The game ends when the roles are guessed or the group decides to stop. The player with the highest reputation or the player whose role remains hidden takes the win.
Read carefully. Listen closely. Trust no one.
Who it is for
For Teenagers and adults. Friends and family looking for an interactive party game. Groups who enjoy roleplay, strategy and social deduction
Shuffle the Role Cards and secretly choose one. Start with 2 Reputation Chips. Draw an Action Card and answer while staying in character. Use your three compulsory words throughout the game without getting caught. Use the bell when you believe someone has used a compulsory word. Every two rounds, a Shift Card changes the game. At the end of each round, players can spend a chip to vote and accuse someone. Get the accusation right to gain reputation and expose a role. Get it wrong and lose reputation. Keep playing, bluffing and reading the room until the game ends. The player with the highest reputation or a player whose role remains successfully hidden, wins.
